They met at someone else's wedding — he was a groomsman, she was a bridesmaid. That day they stood off to the side and watched two other people exchange vows; only later did they understand that some meetings need no explanation. At noon, light poured through the white glass chapel and settled on their joined hands. Two people who both call themselves a little shy walked back in hand in hand and sang, together, for everyone in the room. We let the camera stay quietly to one side, and recorded this light-filled afternoon exactly as it was.
